Jamie Meredith

Executive Vice President

Jamie began his funeral and insurance career in 1996 at just 20 years old. From the very beginning, he discovered a deep passion for helping families protect themselves from the financial hardship that can follow the loss of a loved one, through life insurance and pre-need funeral plans. He advanced quickly in the profession, serving as a Sales Agent, District Manager, Regional Manager, and Director of Sales for several life insurance companies before joining Security National Life in 2005 to lead its Fast Funding Insurance Assignment Program. Following Security National’s acquisition of C&J Financial in 2007, Jamie transitioned to C&J, where he continues to serve the funeral profession with the same dedication that has defined his career.

For nearly 30 years, Jamie’s mission has remained the same: to serve families with compassion while easing the financial strain of funeral expenses. Today, alongside C&J’s dedicated and talented team, he helps serve over 60,000 families annually, providing more than $500 million in assignment funding to thousands of funeral homes across North America. Collectively, C&J and its family of companies have served over 1 million families providing $6.4+ billion in funding to the funeral profession.

“Our purpose is to help families honor their loved ones while removing the financial stress of funeral costs,” Jamie explains. “We accomplish this by eliminating the challenges and cash flow delays funeral homes and cemeteries face when processing insurance death claims. By pioneering new technologies and streamlining processes, we continue to innovate so we can better serve families during the most difficult time of their lives.”

Jamie lives in Gadsden, Alabama, with his wife, Katie, and their four sons — Noah, Jonah, Luke, and Levi. From 2018 to 2024, the boys were widely recognized for their popular weekly social media series, Meredith & Sons – Motivation Monday, where they shared motivational, inspirational, and faith-based messages that resonated with viewers across the funeral profession and beyond.
